Ola Cook Ouzts

Ware Shoals, S.C. Ola Elizabeth Cook Ouzts, 96, widow of Wilmer Fred Ouzts of 11 Green Acres Drive died February 6, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center. She was born in Ware Shoals, a daughter of the late Seth D. and Mamie Mahala Cook.

 

She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church.

Surviving are: one daughter, Janice O.Bird and husband, Roger of Ware Shoals, two sisters, Blanche Jones and Barbara Marsh both of Ware Shoals.

She was pre-deceased by brothers, John D. Cook and Paul Cook and five sisters, Catherine Owens, Sherden Pulley, Evelyn Hewitt, Rachel Pitts, and Annie Lee Davis.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2 pm at The First Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Jones and Rev. Dr. Floyd Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Janice Bird and will receive friends Saturday 1-2 pm at the church. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 449, Ware Shoals, S.C. or to Teleios Ministry, 28 Eula St., Greenville, SC, 29609.
