Born in Madison County, GA, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Georgia Ann Campbell Roberts. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church, where she was a member of A.D.Y. She was retired from Monsanto and was a member of the Ware Shoals Senior Center. She loved camping with her husband and family.

Surviving are: two sons, Stanley Taylor and wife Evelyn of Kennesaw, GA, and Richard Taylor and wife Jo Ann of Greenville, a daughter-in-law, Louise Taylor of Ware Shoals, a sister, Catherine Cathcart of Ware Shoals, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Tony Taylor and infant son, Charles Albert Taylor, three brothers, Marc, J.P. and Virgle Roberts, and five sisters, Lula, Cora Mae, Bert, Ruby, and Essie.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Ware Shoals First Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
