Ware Shoals – Patricia Ann Rawls Varnum, 79, widow of James Ollie Varnum, of 5 Sparks Ave., died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Self Regional Healthcare.
Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Aubrey and Florence Powell Rawls. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker.
Surviving are: a son, James Byron Varnum of Ware Shoals, three daughters, Cathy Varnum Amick, Terry Joe Ashley, and Kelly Ann Gentry, all of Ware Shoals, two sisters, Wanda Hadden of TN and Geraldine Rawls of FL, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Caroll “Tuffy” Rawls.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ware Shoals Cemetery with Rev. Mac Jones officiating.
