Mary Long

Greenwood - Mary Ruth Yeargin Long, 90, of 710A Bucklevel Rd., widow of Harley Ray Long, formerly of Ware Shoals, died Sunday at Hospice House of the Piedmont. She was born in Anderson County, the daughter of the late George and Susie Moore Yeargin. She was of the Baptist Faith and had been a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, James Long and wife, Betty of Greenwood, one brother, Bruce Yeargin, Greenwood, one sister, Mozelle Saxon, Anderson, four grandchildren, Lynn Beck, Gail Jones, Brandy Chavez, Christy Nash and seven great grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by a son, Ray Long, and five siblings.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 3 pm at Parker-White Chapel with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home of Mrs Ronald Jones, 104 Thames Ct., Greenwood, SC.
