J. T. Johnson

Iva – John Tillman “J.T.” Johnson, 73, husband of Dorothy Johnson, of 308 Greer Heights, died Friday, May 23, 2014 at NHC – Clinton.

Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Arthur Tillman and Elise Simpson Johnson. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Pirelli Cable.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: a son, Rick Johnson, a daughter, Sherry (Donald) Jenkins of Westminster and a brother, Odell (Pat) Johnson of Ware Shoals. He was predeceased by a son, Frankie Johnson and a brother, Lonnie Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. John Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
