Born in Garden City, Ks., he was a son of Gregory Spone and Melissa Jane Phipps. Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Gregory Spone and Andrew Gomez, both of Belton, a sister, Bridgette Phipps of Belton, Paternal Grandmother, Roni Spone, Maternal Grandmother Diane Valazquez, and maternal great-grandmother Deloris Corricelli.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, Honea Path conducted by Rev. Jamie Williams.
