Helen Necia Moore

Ware Shoals – Helen Necia Sapp Moore, 89, widow of Robert Newton Moore, formerly of 6 Fredrick Rd, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at NHC-Greenwood.

Born in Webster County GA, she was a daughter of the late John T and Helen Elizabeth Helms Sapp. She and Mr. Moore were longtime members of Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church and served the church and their Lord in numerous capacities there. She was retired from Tavern Sportswear.

Surviving are: four sons, Roger (Debbie) Moore of Hodges, Tony (Glenda) Moore of Greenwood, Wayne (Sandra) Moore of Ware Shoals, and Ronnie (Tina) Moore of Princeton, one daughter Jeanne (Jimmy) Phillips of Honea Path, eleven grandchildren, Nikki, Nicole, Samantha, Kayleena, Daniel, Michelle, Donald, Amy, Shonda, April, and John, and twenty great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 at Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Mac Jones and Bishop Ray Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Moore will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.
