Born in Aiken, he was a son of the late Wilbur Stanley and Doris Tumblin Burroughs. He was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Burroughs is survived by one son: Jason Anthony Burroughs (Felicia) of Hodges; one daughter: Christy Burroughs Clark (David) of Spartanburg; one sister: Donna Burroughs Porter; and three grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by one brother: Stanley Burroughs; one sister: LaDell Burroughs Allen; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 23rd, at Holiday Church with Rev. Byron Wood officiating.
