Simpsonville – Hayward Glenn Babb, 72, husband of Janace Moore Babb, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 after an illness of two weeks.
Born in Laurens County, he was the son of the late Glenn Martin and Julia Boland Babb. He was a member of Mt Olive Baptist Church and had served with the 151st Signal Battalion of the South Carolina National Guard in Ware Shoals. He was retired as manager of Kanawha Insurance Company of Greenville, SC. Mr. Babb was an avid golfer for many years at Fox Run.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 51 years of the home are: his son, Hayward Todd Babb of Greenville and his sister, Judy Babb of Ware Shoals.
Funeral services will be private. The family will receive friends 12:30 – 2 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at Parker-White Funeral Home in Ware Shoals.
