Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Mamie Saxon Johnson. She was a member of Honea Path Assembly of God, and attended Chiquola Baptist Church. She was retired from Park Davis Inc, where she worked as an inspector.

In addition to her husband of 70 years of the home, Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons: Keith Smith of the home, and Bobby Alan Smith of North Augusta; and four grandchildren: Michael and Michelle Smith, and Bronson and Brooke Smith.

She was pre-deceased by one son Michael Smith; one daughter: Donna Marie Smith; and two sisters: Emma Ruth Hopkins, and Doris Mae Booth.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 19^th at 11:00 AM, at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Powell and Rev. Homer Gilmer officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories.

The family is at the home, and will receive friends from 10-11 AM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
