Jessie Willard

Waterloo – Jessie Mae Davenport Willard, 88, widow of Claude William Willard, formerly of 81 Sunday Drive died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Laurens County Memorial Hospital.

Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Luther D. and Molly Weathers Davenport. She was a homemaker and a member of Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are one son, Robert Willard of Greenwood, one daughter, Carolyn Madden of Ware Shoals, one sister, Betty Stamey of Greenwood, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, Melvin Willard and three sisters, Ethel Weathers, Edna Lollis, and Lula Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Tommy Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Carolyn Madden, 242 Brissey Rock Road, Ware Shoals and will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Tuesday at the church prior to the service. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
