Born in Austin, Texas, he was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Honea Path, Onion Creek Masonic Lodge, Austin, Texas, Centre Lodge #37 A.F.M. of Honea Path, and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Johnson owned and operated a tire store for many years in Texas.

Graveside services will be 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Garden Of Memories conducted by Rev. Mike McMillion.
