Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Berley Horne Mabrey and the late John Robert Mabrey. He was of the Pentecostal faith and was formerly employed at Carolina Pride.

Surviving are his wife of the home, his mother of Anderson, and two brothers, Tony Gaines and Scott Mabrey, both of Ware Shoals.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday at Parker-White Funeral Home, Ware Shoals, with Rev. Tommy Wooten officiating.
