Born in Long Island, N.Y., he was a son of Frances Nolan Miller and the late Arthur Edward Miller. He was a self-employed machinist.

Surviving are his mother of Pascal County, Fl., one son, Gerard Patrick Miller of Greenville, a brother, Arthur Edward Miller, Jr. of Atlanta, Ga., and a sister of Alison Miller Gonzalez of Pascal County, Fl.
