Leottice Hopkins

Ware Shoals – Linda Leottice Robinson Hopkins, 73, widow of John F. Hopkins III, of 215 Telephone Exchange Rd., died Monday, February 9, 2015 at Inman Healthcare.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Waymon “Buss” and Bessie Phillips Robinson. She was a homemaker, and formerly attended Friendship Baptist Church in Honea Path. She was a loving mother, and a devoted wife.

Mrs. Hopkins is survived by one son: John Tracy Hopkins (Zoe) of Easley; one brother: Billy Robinson (Laura) of Ware Shoals; one sister: Hazel Robinson of Anderson; four grandchildren: John Anthony Hopkins (Jessica Rawlings), April Leighan Hopkins, John Christopher Hopkins, and John Austin Hopkins; and two great-grandchildren: Alex Frank Hopkins and Chelsea Amelia Hopkins.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: James, Julius, and Howard Robinson; three sisters: Margaret Gunnels, Minnie Hanley, and Clara Mae Robinson; and one brother-in-law: Rev. Harold Hanley.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Greg Hellams officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery.
