Born in AndersonCounty, she was the daughter of the late Welton and Florence Kathleen Stone McClain. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Honea Path.
Surviving are: one son, Gary Gunnells of Donalds; two daughters Ann Phillips of the home and Sandy Gunnells of Donalds; two grandchildren, Kelli Gunnells (Michael), Jesse Ashley (Nikkie), and three great-grandchildren, Kyra Meeks, Jayci Chapman and Brystal Chapman. She was predeceased by a son Donnie Gunnells, and three brothers Tommy, Carroll and Billy McClain.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 25th, 2015 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andrew Overby officiating. Burial will follow at EastviewCemetery.
