Born in Donalds, he was the son of the late Charlie H. and Addie Mae Davis Beasley. He was a member of DonaldsBaptistChurch and served in the Army National Guard.
Surviving are one son, Greg Beasley of MD; three sisters, Gloria Jean Garrett and husband (Matt) of Milltown, NJ, June Hamilton and husband (Sonny) and Kathy Brown and husband (Donnie) all of Belton; a grandson, Gunter Beasley; a long time companion, Sue Stone of Donalds and her two daughters, Michelle Fisher and Melita Mayfield.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 P.M. on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Blank, Rev. Stanley Fuller, and Rev. Jason Sturkie officiating. Burial will follow in the DonaldsBaptistChurchCemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 -3 P.M. prior to the service.
The family will be at the home of a niece, 1682 James Cox Road, Belton. Flowers are optional, or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or Eastview Baptist Church, 215 Meeks Road, Belton, SC 29627.
