Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of the late Harold Vernon and Edna Louise Bobo Mattison. She was a member of Honea Path First Assembly of God, and worked as a dishwasher at J&J Drive-In. Ms. Mattison was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Ms. Mattison was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Harold Ray Mattison; and her two sisters: Shirley Mattison and Sarah Mattison.

Graveside services will be held at 4 P.M. Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Broadmouth Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Justin Phillips officiating.
