Donalds – Lillie Moore Long, 86, of Donalds died peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. She was the widow of Clyde Griffin Long. She was born in Anderson County to the late James Allen and Lila Ivester Moore.

Donalds – Andrew “Sam” Fleming, 86, of 379 E. Main Street, husband of Grace Edna Deanhardt Fleming, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at his home.

Waterloo – Jessie Mae Davenport Willard, 88, widow of Claude William Willard, formerly of 81 Sunday Drive died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Laurens County Memorial Hospital.

Honea Path – John Ralph Ridge, 84 of 607 W. Greer Street, husband of Jean Walker Ridge, died Friday at his home.

Laurens – Edgar Gibson Cox, 95, of One Martha Franks Drive, husband of Leflesha Stewart Johnson Cox, died Friday, March 20, 2015 at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Community.

Ware Shoals – Americo Caprini, 84, of #19 North Riegel Avenue, son of the late Frank and Louise  Caprini, died Thursday March 19. 2015 at his home.

Born in Pittsburg, PA.,  he had served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He was a member of the West Main Street Church of God, and the Men’s Bible Class there. His adopted family was George and Carol Johnson and their children, Heath Burton, Kara Sprouse, and his special grandchildren, Caleb and Cole Burton and Aiden and Anna Doyle. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
