HONEA PATH - Former longtime paramedic, Mason and reserve police officer Michael Bruce Rider, 74, passed away Nov. 22, 2022, at his home on North Main Street.

Born on Nov. 14, 1948, he was the son of the late Frances Holland Rider and Kenneth Floyd Rider. He was the husband of 32 years of Elaine Ellison-Rider.

An emergency services EMT and paramedic for more than 30 years, he served with Honea Path EMS/Rescue Squad, Medshore, Laurens County and Greenwood County EMS.

Honea Path – James Scott McCullough, 57, husband of Pamela Monroe McCullough, of BHP Highway, died Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Ware Shoals – Carolyn Jeanette Kay Davis, 83, widow of John Walter “Jake” Davis, of Green Acres Drive, died Friday, November 11, 2022 in Belton.
