Velda Lusk Heaton

Anderson – Velda Arnold Lusk Heaton, 71, of 3885 Old Portsman Rd., widow of William “Bill” Heaton, died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Anderson she was a daughter of the late D.P. Arnold, Sr., and Sallie Bruce Arnold. She was twice married, first to the late Robert M. “Bobby” Lusk. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She was a retired Real Estate and Insurance Agent.

Surviving are two sons, Steve Lusk and Bryan Lusk, both of Anderson, a daughter, Rhonda Bolton of Anderson, a brother, D.P. Arnold, Jr. of West Columbia, two sisters, Grace Shirley of Honea Path, and Joyce Malone of Belton, seven grandchildren, Brittnay and Stephanie Lusk of Anderson, Tyler and Anna Lusk of Anderson, and Amanda, Jonathan, and Bowen Bolton of Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Broadmouth Baptist Church Cemetery.
