Born in Ware Shoals, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Earl and Mary Bowie Owens.  She was a member of Crossroad Fellowship Church and was retired from Chiquola Mfg. Co. She was an avid reader and gardener.

Surviving is one daughter, Tammy Baldwin (Ray) of Belton and sister, Diane MaGaha of Honea Path, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews.  She is pre-deceased by a brother Joseph Owens and a sister Janice Owens.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Cooper and Rev. Shane Elrod officiating.  Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
