Born in Greenville, he was a son of Gene and Kelly Smith McAlhaney. He worked at Big O Dodge of Greenville as a mechanic, which was a lifestyle and passion, not just a career. Mick was very dedicated and faithful to his beliefs. He faithfully and independently studied the Bible daily. He was a friend to everyone, always accepting people unconditionally. He saw the best in, and loved everyone regardless of their faults.

Surviving in addition to his parents of Donalds are: maternal grandparents, Tommy and Jean Smith, two brothers, Randy and Hunter Caudle, a sister Kayla Caudle, all of Donalds, his fiancé, Monay Christine Skinner, and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.  

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Crocker officiating.

The family will receive friends 1-2 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children-Greenville, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
