Born in Chattanooga, TN, she was the daughter of the late Braskas Cleveland and Frances Davis Hawkins. She was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church and retired from the Law Offices of William R. Thomson.

Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of the home are: two sons, Robin (Zachary) Hudson of Savannah, GA and Scott Hudson of Greenwood, her daughter, Cheryl (Gil) Cade of Honea Path, four grandchildren, Courtney Ann Cade, Jake Cade, Kaitlyn Hudson, and Kelsey (Kaine) Bannister, and a great-grandson, Oliver Kai Bannister. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Randall Braskas Hawkins.

Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Moody officiating.
