Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Jimmy Oscar and Connie Sizemore Lollis. He was a former truck driver, an avid trout fisherman and was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Surviving are his wife of the home, two sons, Timothy Lollis and James Dean Lollis both of the home, and a daughter, Julie Lollis of the home.
