Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late William and Annie Magaha. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church and was retired from Ware Shoals School District #51. She was a member and Past Worthy Matron of the Boyd Bobo Chapter # 144 Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are a daughter, Shelia Reid Coker (Tony) of Hodges, a sister, Shelby Evanski of Ill., three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, James Michael Reid and six brothers and eight sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, January 28, 2019 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with Trenton Coker, grandson and Rev. Lamar Babb officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.
