Swinton “Buck” Loudermilk

Waterloo - Swinton “Buck” Leon Loudermilk, 90, widower of Elizabeth “Betty” McLennan Loudermilk, of Riverfork Road, died Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood.

Born in Mt. Airy, Ga., he was a son of the late Judge Lester and Willie Armenia Blair Loudermilk. He was of the Baptist faith.  He was a retired farmer. Buck was the last surviving member of his immediate family  and was pre-deceased by five brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are a son, Harvey Loudermilk of Waterloo, two daughters, Nancy Balentine (Deck) of Ware Shoals, and Dianne Williams of Waterloo, seven grandchildren, Travis (Erin) Loudermilk, Brianna Loudermilk (Dwayne), Alicia (Matt) Hough, Megan Balentine, Anna Samples, David Cook III(Clara), and Jessica Brown, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Bruce Ostrom officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. on Saturday at Poplar Springs Baptist Church prior to the service.
