Jimmy Jordan

Honea Path – James “Jimmy” David Jordan, 71, widower of Nancy Lee Woods Jordan, formerly of Hwy 25 North, died Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

 

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Edgar and Neeta Epps Jordan. He was a member of Princeton Baptist Church and formerly worked at Woodside Mills, Beattie Plant. Mr. Jordan was a member of Princeton Lodge #129 A.F.M.

Surviving are: his son, George (Kristen) Jordan of Belton; two sisters, Carolyn (Roy) Long of Honea Path and Linda (Riley) Gunnells of Donalds; three grandchildren, Lisa Corino, John Corino, and Amanda Ludel; and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Jordan is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother, David Jordan, and a sister, Becky Lindsay.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Princeton Baptist Church with Rev. Steve McGaha officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of his son, 210 Locke Road, Belton, and will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Tuesday at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Princeton Baptist Church, 18832 Hwy 76 W., Honea Path, SC 29654, or to a charity of ones choice.
