Born in Anderson County, he was a son of Etrulia McCoy Bell and the late Lee “Buddy” Milford Bell. He was a member of Donalds Baptist Church. He was retired from the Timken Company. He was an avid gardener and woodworker.

Surviving are his mother of Laurens, his wife of the home, two sisters, Shelby Jean Wilkie of Honea Path and Patricia McElrath of Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Monday, July 15, 2019 with Rev. Carroll Plemmons officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
