Born in Greenville County, he was a son of Roy Lee Bragg and the late Betty Jo Burgess.

He was formerly employed at American Fire Protection. Larry enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He loved spending time with his grandkids.

Surviving in addition to his father are: his daughter, Misty Bragg of Easley; two brothers, Walter Thompson and Kenny Kelar; two sisters, Kathy Burgess and Tammy Clark; and three grandchildren, Hailey, S.J., and Easton.
