Born in Alexandria VA, he was son of the late Courtland Lee, Sr., and Mollie Mayne Hawes Roberts. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Honea Path and retired from Bell Lab. He had a second career at Carry On Trailer in Lavonia GA. He was twice married, first to the late Helen Sanders Roberts.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife of the home are: his daughter, Andrea (Keith) Young of Honea Path; six grandchildren, Brant Young, Kaylin Young, Cason Young, Caleb Roberts, Cameron Roberts and Keller Noell; a daughter-in-law, Keller (Jay) Roberts Irons of Percellville, VA; and a sister-in-law, Vena Mae Southwood Roberts of Tallahassee, FL.

Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his son, Timothy Noel Roberts, and his brother, Courtland Lee Roberts, Jr.

Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Gayle Summey officiating.
