Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Carl Wallace and Sara Elizabeth Davis Brown. She was a member of Mt Gallagher Baptist Church and had formerly worked as a patient sitter.

Surviving are: her son, Rodney (Sherry) Stephens of  Cleveland TN; her brother, Buddy Brown of Ware Shoals; four grandchildren, Alicia Atkinson, Adam Atkinson, Brittany Stephens, and Ricky Stephens; four great-grandchildren, Haven (Joe) Alewine, Gideon Taylor, Jackson Bennett, and Hunter Rucker; and two great-great-grandchildren, Everleigh Darnell and Grayden Darnell.

Ms. Stephens is preceded in death by two sons, Richard Stephens and Robert Stephens, and her daughter, Donna Atkinson.

Memorial services will be held at 4 P.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop, Rev. Nathan Wiles, and Rev. J. Michael Thomas officiating.
