Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Billie Rosemond Bowie and the late Anita Kneece Bowie. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are her father of Ware Shoals, a son Dominic Rosamond Edwards of Laurens, a daughter, Sierra Edwards (Braxton Horne) of Laurens, and a sister Amber Vinson (Corey).
