Born in Madison County, GA, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Georgia Ann Campbell Roberts. She was the oldest living member of the Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church. Catherine was retired from Riegel Textile Co. and later Gene’s Saddle Shop of Laurens.

Surviving are three sons, Gary E. Cathcart (Tracy) of Spartanburg, Paul S. Cathcart (June) of Ware Shoals, and Jim L. Cathcart of Camden, a daughter, Annette Hamilton (Jack) of Cross Hill, Janet Cathcart of Ware Shoals, 10  grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by ten siblings and her first born grandson, Todd Cathcart.

Private Family Graveside Services will be held Tuesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tony Irby officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes.
