Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Mallie Todd. She was a member of Chiquola United Methodist Church and was retired from Chiquola Mfg. Co.

Surviving are a son, Ronnie Whitman (Janet) of Anderson, a daughter, Debbie Tyner (George) of Honea Path, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two daughters, Pamela Fields and Linda Fleming.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 11 A.M. at the Garden of Memories with Rev. Greg Varner and Rev. Fred Treaster officiating. Social distancing and mask are recommended.
