Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Jimmy Wayne and Patricia Gail Bruce Richey. She was a dedicated member of Winona Baptist Church and actively served their in many roles. Arlene was retired from Abbeville County and had formerly served her community as a Paramedic with Abbeville County EMS for more than 15 years. She was a diehard Georgia Bulldog fan.

Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 32 years of the home are: two brothers, David Richey and Mike Richey, and a sister, Becky Richey, all of Honea Path; two special nephews, Brad Richey of Greenville and Chris Campbell of Honea Path; and her beloved fur babies, Sunny, Rusty, Kamo, Eli, Daisy, and Duke.

Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Winona Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Cooley officiating. Social distancing and mask are recommended.
