Born in Ware Shoals, he was a son of Alma Bannister Hall and the late Willard Ethridge Hall. He had formerly worked in textiles at Riegel Textile Co. and served at pastor in the Church of God of Prophecy for 40 years, having served in Newberry Church of God of Prophecy, Hodges Church of God of Prophecy, Clemson Church of God of Prophecy, and retired from Gray Court Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving are his mother, Alma Hall of Ware Shoals, a son, Joel Hall and wife Veronica Hallof Hodges, a daughter, Christie Lowe and husband Rev. Mark Lowe of Ware Shoals, and four grandchildren, Nathan Lowe, Noelle Lowe, Abby Hall and Ashlea Hall.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Gethsemane Church. Burial will follow in Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM at Gethsemane Church prior to the service on Thursday.
