Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde W. Sr. and Flora Keaton Parker. She was a lifelong member of Barkers Creek Baptist Church and retired from Chiquola Manufacturing Company.

Mrs. Wright was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pam Wright of Belton; two grandchildren, April (Wesley) Sumner of Belton and Melanie (Mark) Owen of Anderson; and five great-grandchildren, Ellie and Will Sumner and Anna, Andrew and Abigail Owen.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Dean Wright and William Parker Wright; four brothers, Keaton, Clyde William “Smiley” Jr., Raymond, Carl; and five sisters, Nora Campbell, Lounelle Graham, Mildred Seel, Evelyn Byrd, and Lucille Stansbury.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Barkers Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
