Born in Dacusville, she was a daughter of the late Jim Knox and Ellen Rose Friddle Jordan.  She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Laurens.  She was retired from Hickory Tavern and Waterloo Schools.

Surviving are her husband of the home, a son, Joseph Owens, Jr., three brothers, Paul Edward Jordan, Sr (Barbara) of Waterloo, Chris Bannister (DeeDee ) of Dacusville, and Todd Bannister of Greenville.

She was predeceased by a brother, Jim Jordan and four sisters, Willie Mae Jordan, Ruby Henry, Beth Bannister, and Frances Bannister.

A Gathering of Friend in casual attire will be held from 5 to 8 PM on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Mt. Plesant Baptist Church, Laurens..
