Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Olin Pascal and Kate Parker Dunlap. He was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He also attended Welcome Baptist Church. He attended Furman University and graduated from Anderson College. Mr. Dunlap worked a career in textiles and also at Winn Dixie.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years of the home. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Justin Phillips and Rev. Wayne Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 P.M. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to St Judes Children’s Hospital at stjude.org or to the charity of ones choice.
