Born in Topeka, KS, he was a son of Pete Zander of Oberlin, KS and Jan Zander Drodge of Topeka, KS. He was a truck driver for Benore Logistics. Warren’s life was always centered around his children.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are: one son, Tylor Max Zander of the home; two daughters, Brianna Faye Zander, and Kelsey Rose Zander, both of the home; two brothers Van (Alycia) Zander of Atlanta, GA and Dustin (Danny) Zander of TX; four sisters, B.J. Montgomery of GA, Ann Garned of Harveyville, KS, Olivia Garcia of Topeka, KS, and Paula Rook of Springfield, MO.
