Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late John Burien and Beulah Elizabeth Arflin Sellers. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and retired from Springs Industries.

Surviving are: two sons, Mark (Karen) Lawton and Keith (DeDi) Lawton, both of Honea Path; nine grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lawton was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three brothers, Lewis Selllers, Olin Sellers, and Owen Sellers.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Friday, October 1, 2021 at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Powell and Rev. Jason Lawton officiating.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
