Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Enoch Gordon and Anna Louise Taylor Tyner. He was of the Baptist faith and formerly served as a Deacon at Chiquola Baptist Church. He formerly worked at Michelin.

Eddy is survived by his son, Kevin (Sterling) Tyner of Belton; his daughter, Amy (Dr. James) Stumpff of Honea Path; a brother, Kenneth (Robin) Tyner of Belton; and four grandchildren, Emory, Nicholas, Charlotte, and Beckett.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Mark Tyner.

Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Jerry White officiating.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
