Born in Anderson, he was the son of Diane Watson and the late Roger Lee Clamp. He was a member of The Rescue Church in Pelion SC. Don loved baseball and was very involved in the sport with his son and had served as Coach. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and his mother of Honea Path are; his son, DavidLee Clamp of the home; his step-mother, Wanda Clamp of Belton; and his step-brother, Richard (Leeann) Buffington of Pelion.

Memorial services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, January 31, 2022 at Honea Path Presbyterian Church with Rev. Deborah Broadwell officiating.
