Brandon was born in Hillcrest Hospital in Simpsonville, S.C. on August 16, 1980. He was the son of Bobby Leopard and the late Amy Lollis Leopard. Brandon attended public schools in Laurens County and was always willing to help others. He loved helping his Nanny with her flowers and at the home. He held various jobs over the years.

Surviving in addition to his father of Pickens are: his beloved grandmother, Sarah Nelle Rowland of the home; his uncle, Tony Lollis of Hickory Tavern; a special uncle, Steve Leopard; special cousins, Josh and Amanda Leopard of Laurens; and many other uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
