Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Colie Blease and Kara Inez Brock McClain. He was married to his devoted wife, Myrtice for 64 years. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and retired from Milliken after 47 years of service. Bobby was famous for raising his sweet potatoes and his plentiful gardens.

Surviving are: his loving daughters, Diane Callaham and Robin Chamblee (Craig); grandchildren, Amanda Lowe (Eric), Chris Petty, and Ethan Chamblee (Ashtin); great-grandchildren, Garrett Lowe, Kara Lowe, and Landon Chamblee; his brother, Johnny McClain (Lynn); two sisters, Nancy Hill (Junior) and Sybil Eads.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Gerald, Michael and Clyde; and two sisters, LB Sartin and Lillie Gambrell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, April 11, 2022 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Travis Dyer officiating.
