Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late John T. and Edna Weathers Thompson. She a member of Kings Chapel Church, and was retired from her work in environmental services for Laurens County Hospital.

Mrs. Gregory is survived by her son Bobby Gregory Jr. of Ware Shoals; two daughters: Karen Craine of Ware Shoals and Debora Fleming of Anderson; her sister Gloria Jean Lamb of Laurens, six grandchildren: Marty Crain Jr., Donna Marie Crain, Cheyenne Dakota Gregory, Sharron Katlin Gregory, Eddie Crain Jr. and Katie Leighann Mashburn; fifteen great-grandchildren and a multitude of great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband d, her daughter Deborah Crain, her brother John T. Thompson Jr. and three sisters: Joanne Kennedy, Martha Sue Medlin and Grace Griffin.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday July 11 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel in Ware Shoals with Rev. James Lamb officiating.
