Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Jerry Lee, Sr. and Peggy Davis Watts. She was a 1981 graduate of Ware Shoals High School.

Surviving are two daughters, Heather Hensley (Laramie) of Ware Shoals, and Brandi Barton (Marcus) of Honea Path, one brother Jerry Lee Watts, Jr. of Ware Shoals and one sister, Kay W. Hilley (David) of Ware Shoals, two grandchildren, Kodie Hensley and Kort Hensley.
