David Stallings

Honea Path – David Alvin Stallings, 77, husband of Ruby Jean Robinson Stallings, of Flat Rock Road, died Saturday August 9, 2025 at his home.

 

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late James Delmas and Ruby Thompson Stallings. He was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from the Bilo Warehouse.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife of the home are: his son, Michael Eugene (Annette) Harbin of Williamston; two daughters, Kimberly Stallings Garner of Ware Place and Jimmy Ann Crosby of Honea Path and ; his sister, Betty Marcelle Garrison of Fountain Inn; seven grandchildren, Joseph Bradley, Nicole, Jessica, Brittany, Adriane, Dalton and Morgan; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Stallings was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Marlin Jeanine Stallings; his four brothers, James Russell Stallings, William Truman Stallings, Kenneth Dyrell Stallings and Herbert Weldon Stallings; and his brother-in-law, Lee Roy Garrison.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Columbia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brad Hill, Dalton Collen, Eddie Posey, Joe Barton, Chevy Posey and Jamie Agee.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Senior Men’s Sunday School class.
