Kris Fleming

Belton – William Kristopher Fleming, 43, husband of Jodie Lynn Vaughn Fleming, of Ragsdale Road, died Tuesday September 10, 2025.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of Ronnie and Ann Guest Fleming. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and worked in engineering at AnMed Health. Kris was a member of Center Lodge #37 A.F.M. and was a Hejaz Shriner.

Kris was known for being a “stirrer” at M&M Shell. He was a frequent flyer at Los Palenques Mexican Restaurant in Honea Path and always enjoyed a road trip to The Rough House in Abbeville for a hotdog. He was an avid Ford lover that bled Ford Blue.

He always let you know how he felt about something and didn’t mind getting onto you if you were wrong. He was a giver of knowledge for everything, even if you didn’t want to know. Kris enjoyed his motorcycle and working in his shop with his father, brother and son. He was his dad’s best friend. He loved going to the movies, to the lake, and just about anything else with his daughter Kaitlyn, who was the very light of his life. He was a wonderful son, father, and brother who loved his family unconditionally.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 19 years of the home and his parents of Honea Path are: his son, Dalton Fleming (Kaytee Simmons) of Belton; his daughter, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Fleming of the home; his brother, Jason (Shelli) Fleming of Lownesville; his paternal grandparents, Edna and Louie Fleming; special family members and their families, Dain Smith, Talor Smith, Jennifer Smith and Ryan Fleming; his M&M Shell family, including Cory Booth, Terry Stone, and Jimmy Foster; all of his special AnMed Engineering buddies; and his beloved dog, Elvis.

Kris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Haynie and Sue Guest; and a beloved dog, Buster.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Haynes, Mr. Cory Booth and Mr. Richard Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
